This very friendly, family-run hotel offers airy and cozy rooms (without kitchen) and villas (with kitchen) in natural surroundings on La Digue Island. The 18 rooms and villas of Villa Veuve Hotel snug in between a small banana plantation and the "La Digue Veuve Reserve". It offers very good value for money, especially on half board.
The Villa Veuve Hotel is situated about 10 walking minutes off the Anse Reunion which leads to world famous Anse Sourche d'Argent beach. Bicyles are rented out directly at the hotel and riding one will cut down the time to reach the beach to about 2 minutes.
The exotic tropical garden of banana trees and a variety of flowering plants provide a cool and breezy atmosphere, complimenting the natural beauty of the island.
The well appointed air conditioned rooms at Villa Veuve Hotel consist of double/twin beds, separate shower and a veranda overlooking the garden. A small fridge is available in the double rooms while the villas offer an equipped kitchen.

All the beaches of La Digue Island like beautiful Anse Severe, Anse Source d'Argent or Grande Anse are easily accessible from Villa Veuve Hotel by foot or by bicycle. The island of La Digue is only about 3x5 kms in size.
Like everywhere, we have also thoroughly tested the restaurant at Villa Veuve and we can say that the food is excellent. Breakfast and dinner buffets are sumptuous while for lunch you have the choice of an à la carte menu.
