La Roussette Hotel

In the southeast of Mahe and only a 10 minutes drive (5-6 km) from Seychelles International Airport on Mahe Island, the La Roussette is a practical and relaxing spot to start and finish your Seychelles holidays.

The hotel is perfect to acclimatize for the Seychelles, for a few days before your flight back or as a base to discover the island of Mahé. It provides 10 standalone chalets (rooms/units), with Superior and Standard rooms. A tropical garden surrounds the hotel.

La Roussette offers a relaxing atmosphere with swimming pool, relax area with billiard table and a bar. Free WiFi is available in all rooms as well as in the public areas of the hotel.

All the rooms are air conditioned, they consist of a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a small private terrace/balcony, fridge, satellite-TV and room safe. Pool towels will be provided.

The newer Superior rooms are a bit bigger than the Standard rooms and they offer a sitting area and an extra bed as well as tea-/coffee making facilities and a hair dryer.

Personal note: During the time of the southeasterly trade winds (normally May-Sept.), swimming and snorkelling may be difficult at times at this side of the island, due to wind, waves or sea grass (see Things to Know). At low tide, swimming is impossible at Anse Aux Pins and Au Cap. However, other beaches are easily accessible from Hotel La Roussette by rental car or - more time consuming - by public bus.
