The Le Repaire is a well-established and very popular boutique hotel right at the beach. Please click on "Google Maps" to the right for a location map.
It is a small, family-run hotel offering a high level of comfort, with a beautiful tropical garden and a swimming pool. The very hospitable Italian-Seychellois owners will make sure you'll feel right at home here and the food in the hotel's own Italian restaurant offers a great mix of Italian and Creole cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You may choose between rooms with sea view (superior rooms) or with garden view (standard rooms). There is also one basic room without balcony or sea view.
Some rooms can accommodate up to 3 persons and there are communicating rooms suitable for families. Communicating rooms and twin bedded rooms should be requested when reserving and are subject to availability.
A new category will be added in October 2017: Superior Beach front rooms. They are adjacent to the beach.
Each of the spotlessly clean rooms at the Le Repaire Hotel offers an air conditioned bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a private terrace or balcony (except the basic room).
All rooms are about the same size with a minimum 32 m2 and equipped with the same amenities: air conditioning and ceiling fan, flat screen satellite TV, free WiFi, telephone, a mini fridge, tea- and coffee maker, hair dryer and a safe.
Kayaks are also available free of charge and can be used anywhere inside the reef.
Notes:
Until about end October 2017 there will be construction next door to Le Repaire. Work will be done from 8 am to 6 pm, so guests will not be disturbed in the early mornings. There is also up a fence between Le Repaire and the building site which is 6m high so that the hotel is protected from the dust and view of the construction. There are plants and trees on the boundary between the two properties and the fence will pass behind the trees so that the view from le Repaire will be of fence and trees and not just fence.
During this period Le Repaire is offering a 10% discount to compensate for the disturbance. This discount is incorporated in below rates. The hotel will also be sensitive to any days which are particularly noisy (eg. when laying the concrete) and may offer additional compensation as appropriate, at the hotel's discretion.
As the majority of guests spend their days on the beach and not in their rooms, we believe and hope that you will not be inconvenienced too much.
Sometimes sea grass may wash up on the beach in front of the hotel. Other La Digue beaches like famous Anse Source D'Argent, Anse Severe or Grande Anse are easily accessible on foot or by bicycle from Le Repaire Hotel. The island is only about 3 by 5 km in size.
