This fine and family-run guest house which is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden with a number of fruit trees is situated some 100 metres above the famous Beau Vallon Beach. As the Lemongrass Lodge is are up the hill, you'll have a beautiful view of Beau Vallon Beach. Click to the left for pictures of the actual view.
The lodge comprises of three double bedrooms in the main house and a number of apartments in 3 stand-alone houses.
The Main House has one beautiful and spacious double bedroom on the first floor, with a private bathroom attached.
Downstairs in the main house there are two double bedrooms with attached bathroom, but with no seaview. This is why the two downstairs rooms are cheaper than the upstairs room.
In the main house there is a common kitchen for the guests (as opposed to the apartments which feature their own kitchen). There also is a lounge with a stocked mini bar, flatscreen TV with cable channels and a Expresso Lavazza Coffee machine and capsules (you may buy the capsules on site).
The airy and spacious apartments Zambroza, Carambole and Palmier can accommodate a couple plus extra beds for children. They each have a climatized bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, own fully equipped kitchen, a stocked mini bar, etc.
The view of Beau Vallon Beach from the terrace or bedroom is phantastic! Note: No seaview from the smaller apartment "Carambole", that's why this apartment is cheaper than the others.
Jacaranda Apartments: Set in the tropical garden of Lemongrass Lodge, the two 65 m² Jacaranda Apartments are a new addition to the property offering comfortable and spacious living accommodation. The apartments have been built using wonderful local wood material. The apartment has one bedroom with a spacious en-suite modern bathroom, lounge, modern kitchen and a terrace overlooking the garden, mountains and the Beau-Vallon Bay.
One apartment is on the ground floor while the other is on the first floor. Accommodating maximum 3 persons, the wooden structure designed is based on the traditional Creole Architecture of the past.

It takes only a few minutes to walk down to the beach, which is about 400m from Lemongrass Lodge. As the access road is quite steep, we recommend a rental car, also very useful for discovering other beautiful spots around Mahe Island. Lemongrass Lodge offers breakfast and dinners in the evening upon request, at a very reasonable price. For price details see below. You may also opt for self catering in which case you will find all the facilities you will require. All guests in apartments on self catering basis will receive a free a welcome pack of bread, butter, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and fruits on arrival.
Should you wish to dine out at another restaurant, there are half a dozen by the beach front, only a few minutes by car.
